Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Vice President of Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization’s sales function. The Vice President of Sales is accountable for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales goals, and aligning sales objectives with Full Cycle’s business strategy.
Sales Development Representatives
Reporting to the VP Sales, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in Target Accounts for Strategic Alliance and Partnership Managers. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. This role will be primarily focused on identifying and qualifying targeted accounts and performing outreach through emails, calls, and social media.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Engineer is a go-to technical resource for the Growth team, helping to make prospects and customers successful through live assistance, behind the scenes support and education. A Sales Engineer relies on their technical expertise to effectively explain and apply technical concepts; i.e. characteristics important to Full Cycle’s assessment of a waste material’s usability and the preferred range of performance and predetermined formulation specifications to develop high-quality, consistent resins that can displace a variety of oil-based plastic products.
The time is right to hire our first in-house finance leader. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key advisor/partner, you will be responsible for all aspects of finance for Full Cycle. You will plan, implement, manage, and control all financial related activities for the business. Within that scope you will grow and oversee a team that manages accounting, budget optimization, tax, treasury, deal negotiation input, forecasting, and strategic planning.
The Staff Accountant position is a broad accounting position that reports to the Controller and will assume a hands-on role in the day-to-day accounting activities to ensure sound financial reporting for this fast paced, growing company. The Staff Accountant is involved with all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, processes and controls. The Staff Accountant has primary responsibility for ensuring activity is controlled and properly reported in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
As a Content Assistant, you’ll be working closely with our Communications and Creative Lead on digital, print, and video content for our comms/marketing, recruiting, investment, and people teams! This role will give you the opportunity to build on top of your existing experience by working with a wide variety of content creation software, video and copy.
As an Office Assistant, you’ll be working closely with and reporting directly to our People Success manager to keep the office running as smoothly as possible doing a wide variety of tasks as well as helping with our event planning and setup. You’ll gain valuable experience in learning how everything works in an office environment as well as being able to provide input on our future growth plans. You’ll also get a chance to really let your inner event planner shine down the road as we expand our event offerings for the office. As we grow into other facilities, future growth opportunities are available down the line as well. No prior office experience required!
Process Engineer, Technology Scale-Up
As a Process Engineer for the Technology Scale-Up Unit, you will support the design, engineering, retrofitting, build-out and commissioning of Full Cycle’s new production facility. This new facility will house multiple production lines at more than 5x the scale of our current demonstration facility. This facility is essential for optimizing Full Cycle’s novel technology for commercialization and other scale-up efforts. In addition to dedicated material production lines, this site will conduct R&D for Full Cycle’s scale-up and optimization efforts to develop IP and inform the design of additional commercial facilities.
The Extraction Technician is responsible for performing extraction processes for the separation of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) bioplastic from microbial biomass as directed by the designated supervisor. The technician may also be involved in the pilot facility operations as determined by company needs. This is a production position within the Operations division of Full Cycle that will work closely with both Operations and R&D staff to achieve its goals. This position is part of a small team responsible for the extraction of PHA produced at a demonstration facility of Full Cycle’s organic waste to bioplastic technology.
As a Lab Technician, you would be responsible for maintaining the laboratory and executing R&D experiments. We highly value experience in the following areas: wild-type bacteria fermentation, bioreactor operation, extraction, technology scale-up, bioplastics (polyhydroxyalkanoates in particular), and green chemistry. Since the Full Cycle process does not use Genetically Modified Organisms, we do not consider experience with gene editing/CRISPR9/etc to be necessary for success in the role.
Sr. Maintenance Mechanic
We are looking to add an experienced mechanic who will oversee and implement our preventative maintenance program for our lab and production equipment for our two main locations in San Jose and Mountain View, ensuring they are operating at their finest. You would focus on preventative measures for all the equipment as well as perform hands on repairs and upgrades.
We are seeking someone to join our team as a Production Associate, based onsite at our production facility.
In this position you will work onsite with a team at the intersection of traditional waste management practices and emerging technology intended to confront the environmental impact of plastics and greenhouse gases. We harness the power of nature and use naturally occurring bacteria to make a sustainable alternative to petroleum based plastic from food waste. Included responsibilities are similar to those found in a lab environment as well as a manufacturing floor. Knowledge in the areas of environmental systems, waste management, wastewater treatment, fermentation, composting, and lab research will support you well in this position. We highly value experience in standard laboratory operations and safety practices.
R & D Engineer, Technology Scale-Up
As a R&D Engineer for the Technology Scale-Up Unit, you will support the design, engineering, retrofitting, build-out and commissioning of Full Cycle’s new production facility. Core responsibilities will include project management and execution for the engineering and retrofits of existing infrastructure and equipment (tanks, reactors, centrifuges, etc.) in close coordination with Full Cycle’s technology experts. You will be a key contributor to the commissioning and start-up of the facility to ensure process units meet specific goals driven by process validation efforts or client-based needs.
As the Polymer Scientist you will be responsible for formulation, compounding and characterization of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) for Full Cycle. Collaborating with the R&D team and Business Development teams, you will conduct research and development of PHA products for our customers. You will work closely with external collaborators to develop PHA products. Serving as a subject matter expert, you will also have the opportunity to help train staff on polymer processing equipment.
